Product Description (for reference only): Huoshi Seal Solid Liquid is prepared by mixing water, arabic gum, chloral hydrate, and a small amount of glycerol according to the national standard method. Also known as Huo's sealing solution, it is a water-soluble sealing agent that does not require multiple dehydration with alcohol or the complex process of xylene transparency. It has hydrophilic Arabic gum sealing properties and the transparency of chloral hydrate, resulting in clear and three-dimensional specimens with clear and complete fine features, suitable for microscopic photography.

Instructions for use: (This product has a certain irritating odor, please operate in a well ventilated area)
1) Drop a droplet of Hoxhlet seal solid and liquid in the center of the glass slide. The droplet should not be too large and should be small. It is advisable to seal the solid and liquid just to cover the glass slide, and make the glass slide as thin as possible.
2) Use a dissecting needle or other suitable tool to pick up the specimen under the dissecting microscope and place it in the bottom layer of the sealing agent.
3) Use tweezers to hold the cover glass, dip a small amount of sealing liquid in the center of the cover glass, and press it down directly so that the sealing agent can spread out very evenly in all directions without moving the specimen.
4) After placing the glass slide in a 45-50 ℃ oven for 72 hours, it can be observed under a microscope.
5) If it is necessary to keep the glass slide for a long time, it can be put back into the oven for a week. After taking it out, it can be kept at room temperature for a week. Then it can be sealed around the glass slide with nail oil seal. In the dry season, it can be sealed again to ensure that the moisture in the air does not penetrate.
6) The prepared specimens can generally be examined under a regular microscope. Using a phase contrast microscope for microscopic examination yields better results for colorless and transparent specimens.

Usage: This product is only used for scientific research and cannot be used for other purposes. Commonly used for sealing glass slide specimens.

Storage: 2-8 ℃, 6 months

matters needing attention:
1) The size of the solid and liquid droplets is moderate. Droplets should not be too large, and it is advisable to use small ones. It is advisable to cover the glass slide tightly with solid and liquid, and make the glass slide as thin as possible.
2) When compressing, gently press the cover glass with a dissecting needle tip to allow the thicker specimen's internal organs to slowly overflow. The glass slide should be made as thin as possible, and the overflowing internal organs will disappear transparently under the action of the sealing agent.
3) Some structures need to be immediately observed after sealing to avoid becoming transparent or being covered by overflow from other parts over time.

4) After the preserved specimens are dried and encounter humid weather, they may regain moisture and absorb water, causing the gel to soften. Therefore, they should be kept moisture-proof.
