Characteristic: Liquid. Pfu DNA Polymerase is a high fidelity high-temperature DNA polymerase isolated from the thermophilic bacterium Pyrococcus furiosis. Pfu DNA polymerase has the activity of 5 ′ -3 ′ exonuclease, which can correct errors generated during PCR process. It is currently the one with the lowest error rate in the PCR process among all discovered DNA high-temperature polymerases, with an error rate about 10 times lower than that of ordinary Taq DNA polymerases. The extension rate of Pfu DNA polymerase is about 800 bases per minute, and the optimal extension temperature is 65-75 ℃. The PCR product is a flat end without a single dA at the 3 'end
Purpose: Biochemical research. After testing, it was found that there was no activity of exogenous nucleases. Using lambda DNA as a template, a 2kb DNA fragment could be effectively amplified. Can be used for routine PCR amplification, high fidelity amplification and expression of genes, and site directed mutagenesis of genes
