Activity definition: 1 unit (U) Taq DNA polymerase activity is defined as the amount of enzyme required to incorporate 10mmol of deoxyribonucleotides into acid insoluble substances using activated salmon sperm DNA as a template/primer within 30 minutes at 74 ℃
Characteristic: Liquid, it is an efficient PCR DNA polymerase. It was isolated and purified from Escherichia coli cloned with Thermu aquaticus DNA polymerase gene after induction expression. Its molecular weight is 94KD. Taq DNA polymerase has 5 ′ -3 ′ DNA polymerase activity and 5 ′ -3 ′ exonuclease activity, but no 3 ′ -5 ′ exonuclease activity. In the PCR reaction, the elongation rate of Taq DNA polymerase is 1-2kb/min, and the product has a 3 ′ end band A. It can be directly cloned using TA vector
